This policy explains what DEBRIEF Industries, LLC ("DEBRIEF," "we," "us") collects when you visit drinkdebrief.com and how we use it. The short version: we collect your email when you join the Founding Shift, and we use it to send you updates about DEBRIEF. We don't sell your information.
What we collect
- Information you give us. Your email address when you join the Founding Shift, plus anything you choose to send us by email or reply to our messages.
- Signup details. When you join, our email provider may record technical details about the signup, such as the date and time, your IP address, the page or link you came from, and campaign tags in the link (for example, which social post sent you).
- Basic server logs. Our website host may automatically log standard request data, such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, to keep the site running and secure.
We don't run analytics or advertising pixels on this website.
How we use it
- To add you to the Founding Shift and send founder updates, launch news, and first access when the product is available.
- To reply to your messages.
- To understand which channels bring people to the list, so we can plan outreach.
- To keep the site secure and to meet legal obligations.
We'll only email you about DEBRIEF. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
Who we share it with
We use service providers to run the site and the email list. They process information only on our behalf:
- beehiiv, Inc.: signup form and email delivery.
- Netlify, Inc.: website hosting.
- Google Fonts: loads the typefaces used on this site, which means your browser requests them from Google.
Those providers have their own privacy policies. We don't sell your personal information or share it for advertising. We may disclose information if the law requires it or to protect our rights.
Cookies
This site doesn't set its own tracking cookies. The signup form is provided by beehiiv and may use cookies or similar technologies to work and to prevent abuse. You can block cookies in your browser settings; the site should still work.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email.
- Ask us to access, correct, or delete the information we hold about you by emailing contact@drinkdebrief.com. We'll respond within a reasonable time.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local privacy law. Write to us and we'll honor them as the law requires.
How long we keep it
We keep your email while you're subscribed. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, we'll remove it, except where we must keep a record to honor your unsubscribe or meet legal obligations.
Security
We use reputable providers and reasonable safeguards, but no system on the internet is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
Children
This site and the Founding Shift are intended for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has joined, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here and update the date above.
