THE 40 MINUTES
NOBODY TELLS YOU ABOUT.
You drive home into the sunrise while everyone else's day is starting. You pull the blackout curtains against full daylight. And then you lie there at 9am, wired, while your body refuses to believe the shift is over.
WHY MELATONIN
WAS MAKING IT WORSE.
Most of us reach for melatonin first. Here's the part nobody explains: melatonin isn't a sedative — it's a timing signal, your body's way of saying "it's night." But on night shift, your internal clock is already scrambled. Adding more of a confused signal doesn't fix the confusion. For a lot of us, it just adds the fog.
DEBRIEF skips it. No melatonin — so you wake up clear, not underwater.
CLINICALLY DOSED.
NOTHING HIDDEN.
Other drinks list similar ingredients. DEBRIEF doses each functional one to the amount used in the research behind it.
THE LIST MATTERS
AS MUCH AS THE FORMULA.
Sweetened with monk fruit, stevia Reb M, and allulose. Erythritol-free.
TART CHERRY.
NO MELATONIN.
Real tart-cherry flavor, for the taste. The whole fruit — and its melatonin — left out by design.
WHY NOT JUST

Not a drug, not a sedative — a dietary supplement built for the after-shift window.
THE DOSE IS
THE DIFFERENCE.
One can. One flavor. Tart cherry — real flavor, no melatonin, nothing you can't pronounce. Built around 3,000 mg of clinically dosed glycine to support faster sleep onset after a shift.
THREE STEPS
TO FOUNDING CANS.
I USED TO DEBRIEF
IN THE SHOWER.
Every morning after nights, I'd get in the shower and debrief my whole shift to my fiancé. Out loud. Everything I didn't have time to feel for twelve hours, all of it coming out under the water. That's where the name comes from.
I came to nursing as a second career, and started night shift in the ICU in December 2024. Night shift doesn't just make you tired — it rewires you. I'm an ICU nurse and a doctoral nurse-practitioner student, and when I went looking for something to help my body come down after a shift, everything was either melatonin or a wellness label that's never met a nurse. So I'm building the thing that should already exist.

THE SHORT
ANSWERS.
Is it safe with my medications?
DEBRIEF is a dietary supplement, not a drug. As with any supplement, if you take prescription medications, or you're pregnant or nursing, check with your doctor or pharmacist before use.
Why no melatonin?
Melatonin is a circadian timing signal. On night shift your rhythm is already disrupted, and for many people melatonin adds grogginess rather than fixing sleep. DEBRIEF is melatonin-free by design.
When does it ship?
Founding reservations ship Q1 2027. You'll get updates from me as we hit each manufacturing milestone.
What exactly is it?
A shelf-stable, lightly carbonated 12 oz can — one, 30–60 minutes before bed, after your shift. Clinically dosed, melatonin-free, erythritol-free.
Is there really no melatonin?
None — and it's backed by a finished-product test to non-detect. We removed the one sneaky source (whole tart cherry) and use a melatonin-free tart-cherry flavor instead.
Is it safe during pregnancy?
DEBRIEF contains botanicals, including passionflower. If you're pregnant or nursing, check with your own provider before use.
Is it a drink or a supplement?
Both. A lightly carbonated sleep recovery drink, formulated as a dietary supplement — that's what lets us put a full 3,000 mg dose of glycine in the can. It carries a Supplement Facts panel, not a Nutrition Facts one.
What does "founding member" mean?
First access to run one, founding pricing locked in, and a vote on the flavor. Founding isn't a coupon — it's who was here first.
